FlowHeadshots accepts all common image formats for your selfie uploads.
- Accepted upload formats:
- JPEG / JPG (most common from smartphones)
- PNG

- HEIC / HEIF (iPhone default format)
- Output formats:
- Your generated headshots are delivered in JPEG and PNG formats, which are universally compatible with all platforms, websites, and print services.
- File size and requirements:
- Maximum file size per image: 10 MB
- Minimum recommended resolution: 512x512 pixels (most smartphone photos far exceed this)
- Photos should be in color (not black and white)
- The image should contain a clearly visible face
- Tips for the best upload experience:
- Use photos taken directly from your smartphone camera — these are already in the optimal format and resolution.
- Avoid screenshots of photos, which may reduce quality.
- If you are transferring photos from an iPhone, HEIC format works fine — no need to convert to JPEG first.
